Open source projects have proliferated at an incredible rate over the last few years. While this is great news for innovation and technology accessibility, consuming all of these tools for production infrastructure has become increasingly difficult. Learn how the OpenStack ecosystem is approaching this challenge to make it easier to operate and consume open infrastructure.

Jonathan will also cover new use cases driving OpenStack adoption, from public clouds to 5G telco networks to edge cloud computing, and why open source is the best approach for users. He will also introduce new pilot projects at the OpenStack Foundation, including Kata Containers (secure containers), Zuul (CI platform), StarlingX (edge computing platform) and Airship (infrastructure lifecycle management).
