OpenStack in production has been a reality for several years, but still some problems and challenges will arise during the lifetime of a platform.
During this workshop we will present tools and methods that can be used to make sure that the platform is running properly, as well as investigation technics that can be useful to understand problems appearing on an OpenStack platform:
• finding and using the logs • monitoring hints • testing tools (tempest/rally) • underneath OpenStack: Rabbitmq / Memcached / MySQL • networking deep dive • and more...
Each attendee will have access to a running OpenStack platform to test, break and fix all the things.
Requirements: Attendees must bring a laptop with a browser and an SSH client (putty, openssh, mobaXterm, ...) installed.
